GIMME TINNITUS is a Brooklyn-based music/MP3 blog run by a dedicated music enthusiast by the name of Bob Reich. We love his constant curation of killer shows, sick playlists, and undying advocacy for spending your hard-earned cash to support the bands he loves. He tends to go for the loud, abrasive, unconventional, and downright obscure-as-hell music that we can’t get enough of on Serious Business On BTR. For the first installment of the four-part GIMME TINNITUS X SB On BTR Takeover, we’re featuring bbigpigg.
bbigpigg are a squeal-blasting, face-melting, fat-bottomed groovin’ noise rock band from Brooklyn. Gimme Tinnitus noticed that their Facebook interests seem to reveal a little something about the band and their tunes. Submitted for your consideration: “biological organization. anthropomorphism. survival strategies. transference. Merleau-Ponty. BBQs. homicidal cartoon monkeys. candy empires. self-defense weaponry. kitty-cats.” Yup, that does make a lot of sense.
Featured song: “How Weird Is That Girl”

bbigpigg’s latest release, a split cassette with Designer, is now available.
