Nasimiyu is a Brooklyn-based musician whose style has evolved over the years from her time in New Orleans making music to her deeply personal, experimental pop. Last seen on BTR Live Studio with the fun and creative Baeb Rxxth, Nasimiyu returns with a very special At Home performance, debuting new music from her upcoming record – the first in 7 years under her own name – with a unique solo performance utilizing live loops and samples and her stunning vocals. Here, Bryan B catches up with Nasimiyu to talk about the song a day project that kickstarted this record, the unique challenges of solo performance, and taking inspiration from the Black Lives Matter movement.
Nasimiyu will be releasing new music soon.
