Jesca Hoop is a Manchester, UK-based musician. For her latest album, she returned to her stateside home of California to record the songs that would ultimately see producer John Parish adding his touch to the process and the voices of Lucius and Kate Stables joining Jesca on the album. With a distinct style of fingerpicked guitar playing and gently powerful vocals, the songs are raw and direct, and presented here in an intimate, solo performance by Hoop at Serious Business Music in Brooklyn.
