Bird Streets is the musical project of NY-based songwriter John Brodeur. The moniker – a reference to a neighborhood in LA – which happens to be where he recorded the band’s debut album, revealed a new sort of musical freedom for Brodeur’s songs. In collaboration with producer Jason Falkner, Brodeur has crafted a selection of tight, melodic pop/rock songs that’ll be stuck in your head for days. The band dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to give us a taste of their music.
Bird Streets is available now from Omnivore Recordings.
