We first met Brooklyn bassist extraordinaire Eva Lawitts when the band Citris dropped by, but she’s a musician who you’ve likely heard already, whether you realize it or not. Be it one of her own projects, or alongside Princess Nokia, Lawitts has lent her formidable skills to more projects than we can count. With Stimmerman, her frenetic, heady bass mastery and otherworldly, cutting vocals lead the way for a stunningly weird and wonderful musical journey through shifting tempos and proggy movements (look out for that sweet trumpet jam) that we instantly fell in love with.
