Tuff Sunshine is a NYC indie rock group headed up by singer/songwriter Johnny Leitera. For this incarnation of the group, bassist Turner Stough brings in his I Am The Polish Army bandmate Emma DeCorsey on guitar and vocals while drummer-about-town Rich Hutchins fills things out with tasteful precision. Leitera’s songwriting style brings a confident sort of cool to candid lyrics, which often make way for classically riffy, funky rock moves. The band dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to show us how it’s done.
Untreated (1×3) EP is available now.
