Anemone is the Montreal-based project of Chloé Soldevila. Blending sweet psych-pop melodies with subtle touches of funk jams to perfect effect, the project evokes blissed out sunny days with nearly every track — “Party Theme” is a full on dance hit, though, of course. The 5-piece band dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to share a bit of their joyous vibe with us for this session.
