Van Goose is the high energy, beat-driven project of Shlomi Lavie. The Brooklyn-based musician, inspired by DFA and the no wave genre, has had a wild musical ride. From fronting a theatrical electro-punk project to his role as drummer in the band Marcy Playground, Shlomi’s experience runs deep. As Van Goose revs up to take their sound from the streets of Brooklyn to the airwaves (or internet tubes, at least), the band dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to heat things up.
The debut album from Van Goose, Habitual Eater, will be available March 1, 2019.
