Bilge Rat is a rock trio based in New Haven, Connecticut. With slow, grungy grooves and skronky goodness all over, singer/guitarist Mike Kusek’s songs push and pull with a nervous energy that both draws you in and drags you along. The band, including touring bassist and pedal-maker Mike Boner of Stove and Ovlov, stopped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn on a recent tour to give us a live taste of their jams.
