Soccer Mommy is the project of Sophie Allison, a young artist from Nashville who splits her time between there and NYC, where she’s in college. For the past few years, she’s self-released her chill indie pop. Recently, Fat Possum stepped in to put out a collection of those tunes and a proper debut for 2018. The music is unassuming and has a way of catching the listener sublimely off-guard. Here, Sophie is joined by her full live band to flesh out her tunes in a live session at Serious Business Music in Brooklyn.
Clean is available now from Fat Possum.
