Songwriter Walter Martin is known as a lyricist and multi-instrumentalist for The Walkmen — and before that, Jonathan Fire*Eater. His solo career began a few years ago with a record of music for children and, since then, he’s held onto that childlike wonder and quirky melodic sense of storytelling while continuing to craft fun folk songs for grownups. He joined us at Serious Business Music in DUMBO for a listen to some of his freshest tunes in this special session.
Walter Martin’s new album, My Kinda Music, is available now.
