Literature is an indie-pop band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band’s roots were planted when songwriter Kevin Attics met Nathaniel Cardaci and Seth Whaland in Austin, Texas. After a move to Philadelphia, where they met fourth member Chris Schackerman, the band got up and running in 2012. Their mod-leaning indie pop found a great match in analog recording techniques, which the band put to fantastic use on their Slumberland Records release, Chorus. Literature stopped by Saltlands Studio in DUMBO while in town for CMJ, where they also cranked out a killer set at the official BTR showcase.
