During the 2014 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, the BTR Live Studio team set up shop at a lovely house on the East Side and invited bands to play music and chat in the backyard. Southern Tier Brewing Company provided beverages and the fine Austin weather did the rest.
Tom Brosseau is a longtime favorite of BreakThru Radio, so we were extra happy to have him stop by the BTRhouse while making the rounds of SXSW. A folksinger with a very distinct voice and style, hailing from Grand Forks, ND, and currently residing in Los Angeles, Brosseau possesses a particular sort of workingman spirit, as well as the kind of pristine and evocative guitar playing that only comes from a lifetime of singing and playing. Already a fan of the Ear Trumpet Labs microphones, Tom sounded great singing through the Edwina we had on hand! See for yourself!
Featured song: “I Get Lost Inside Of Her Aspect”
