During the 2014 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, the BTR Live Studio team set up shop at a lovely house on the East Side and invited bands to play music and chat in the backyard. Southern Tier Brewing Company provided beverages and the fine Austin weather did the rest.
Cheers Elephant is a Philly band with wonderfully sticky hooks, harmonies, and a hell of a sense of humor. With musical sensibilities and a sound that lands them somewhere between the Kinks and Spoon, there’s a lot to love here. They were the first in a long week of sessions at the BTRhouse, and they definitely got things off to a great start!
