MiWi La Lupa grew up and started playing music in Buffalo, New York, before finding his way to New York City to pursue his dreams. Once in the city, he racked up an impressive list of collaborators, from El-P and David Byrne to Femi Kuti and Charlie Hunter. Over time, his voice and songwriting style developed and grew strong, resulting in his signature frank, honest delivery and style. With the help of a number of talented friends, MiWi crafted his latest album by uniting a diverse range of sounds, styles, and influences with the common thread of his own vision.
