Bombay Rickey is a band based in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, with an eclectic mix of influences. Self-described as “the soundtrack to a Bollywood noir film from the 1960s, or perhaps to a spaghetti western that never existed,” they bring together jazz, funk, rock, and a plethora of world music sounds for an exciting blend that’s all their own. We visited the band at home for an intimate living room performance, in the middle of one of the most serene neighborhoods in Brooklyn.
Featured song: “Bombay 5-0”
