Amanda doesn’t have the best relationship with her father. When she was a child, he preferred partying and doing hard drugs over being a decent dad. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and she didn’t see her father again until she was in grad school. After inviting her to reconnect with him in Paris, Amanda learns that sometimes people don’t change.
