Peace to everyone on the check in. Hope everybody out there is taking it easy. Don't drive yourself crazy. Be patient, stay focus, keep your mind busy, don't veer off into thinking things are hopeless. We all have to stay strong. I understand, it's not easy. You just wanna do the basic things right now. Eventually we hope this will pass. Right now though, this is the new normal. In the meantime, to keep your mind busy, not looking at numbers or graphs. We got this World Hip-Hop mix to grab hold of your attention. This pandemic, what else can you say? We can beat it. Ok, let's get into the mix so we can all still have a good time while fighting this.
Two classic favorites from DJ Sanj, a PMC throwback, plus a timely track from Parbh Deep in the Beyond segment.
Check out the album release show by Stephanie Urquhart Quartet (featuring Mallory Chipman), recorded live at The Yardbird Suite in Canada.
Music by the Dor Herskovits Quartet (and Quintet) recorded live at The Lilypad in Cambridge, MA on today’s The Jazz Hole Live with Linus.
Everybody's running for president, so why not me? LOL. I guess right now I'm the president of the World Hip-Hop show because I'm the only DJ right now playing great hip-hop music from around the world constantly. Some of these artists, the other DJ's wouldn't even give them the time of the day. That's why I'm the opposite, the bizarre one, and I take chances. All that top 40 junk. Playing the same records over and over. That's another business in itself. Right now though, we have another mix right here to prove what I can do. Listen up!!!
Enjoy a set by Triio (a sextet led by the Canadian bassist and composer Alex Fournier) on today’s episode of The Jazz Hole Live.
Did you hear? They found a new planet. Yeah man, that's great. We're on our way there right now. We are going to check to see if they have any hip-hop on this new planet. You guys want to join us? LOL. Yeah I know, my imagination starts going and boom, a new World Hip-Hop mix for your brain! Journey with us, as we go farther than Star Trek the series did. Enjoy the mix. Let's rock
