This year’s last episode of Via Berlin features a handful of sweet reworks: Claptone have done their own interpretation of a Pet Shop Boys track, Thomalla took on music by Berlin duo Me and My Drummer, Mouse On Mars member Andy Toma’s son Nicolai – also a talented electronic musician- added some sparks to Malaysian singer songwriter Zee Avi. And, if you listen closely, you’ll find even more to discover. Enjoy!
I know I'm not the only one that misses the summer. That is the lead off track this week by Adri Block called Summer Groove. I know It's the holiday season but i just had a flashback LOL. We're going through some on the gems that came out in 2015. Listen and enjoy. Don't forget to follow us on our social media handles during the holiday season.
Quite a mix in today’s episode– brand new tracks meet tunes that are nearly 25 years old. We’ve got CJ Bolland for you, Jaydee, Joey Betram, Derrick May and others- many of them once part of the 80ies/ 90ies techno scene, and very successfully so. The dream of the 90ies is alive on Via Berlin today.
Encore show from April 21, 2015. Todays show presents another fine selection of electronic music, including Norwegian Todd Terrje and Royksopp, sound wizard Olafur Arnalds and new works by Henrik Schwarz and his buddy Bugge Wesseltoft.
In today’s episode we’ll take a musical look at past week’s Krake festival in Berlin where Cassegrain & Tin Man, Mondkopf, and Dat Politics stood behind the decks. We’ve also got new music by Miami based Danny Daze who recently released his new EP ‘Dual’ on Jimmy Edgar’s ultramajic imprint.

It’s been crazy here at “the Happy Hour.” For starters we missed Melt Banana, so that sucks. Hanabi saw Toe though, so that’s making it better. We do have some rocking sets though and our long time favorite and electronics pioneer Ken Ishii brings you the business. He’s also from Sapporo Japan, so I bet he gets a lot of beer for free. I think it’s a law or something? Louderis a punk band, that I would assume aspires to be louder than anyone. Hmmm, Zeni Geva or Merzbow may have something to say about that. But enjoy! Ryo Fujimoto would like it if you thought of him as “Rahzel-like” please.
Welcome to the Sunday Grooves. Today I'm on the turntables mixing new music from The BIMB Family, Mr. V with Louie Vega. Make sure you share with your people. Sunday sounds really good! And as always, don't forget to check out BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Instagram, SoundCloud, and Pinterest!
