We’re proud to present a new recurring edition of BreakThruTV, spotlighting organizations and people who help others. The first of these episodes features the New York chapter of Open Architecture Collaborative. Open Architecture New York describes themselves as “a volunteer-run collective that actualizes the potential of local communities in New York City through creative design and development solutions.” We spoke with Director of Outreach Drew Miller and Managing Director Shannon Beck and visited one of their “design charrettes,” in which design professionals and anyone interested in helping can offer their insight on an upcoming project for the community.
