Bradley Garrett is a photographer, researcher and accomplished Urban Explorer. About 7 years ago Bradley left his job as an archeologist studying ancient cities, and moved to London to do a phd on urban exploration. He quickly realized that exploring the hidden spaces of the urban present was a much more thrilling line of work than studying the ancient past.

TOY are an internationally-touring rock 'n roll band currently based in London. One of the current darlings of the legendary Heavenly Recordings roster, their noise-drenched, psychedelic, shoegaze sound makes the perfect soundtrack to summer shenanigans. Thanks to the help of their friends The Horrors, this 4-year-old band got a fast start touring the world and taking on crucial, and well-deserved, critical praise.
During the 2014 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, the BTR Live Studio team set up shop at a lovely house on the East Side and invited bands to play music and chat in the backyard. Southern Tier Brewing Company provided beverages and the fine Austin weather did the rest.

This London-based duo (joined live by additional musicians) has crafted an album and live show full of fantastically dense, noisy, frenetic, fractured pop songs. For this special backyard session, they stripped their setup way down to acoustic instruments to play a couple of songs for us at the BTRhouse.
