I don't know about the rest of the world, but summertime is here in NYC, wooooweee. It's burning up, but I love this hot weather. It brings out the best in me. So much is going on right now, nothing beats an ice cold glass of tea or lemonade, sitting by the air-conditioner just cooling out. You only have a fan? Yeah that's a tough one. Sometimes a fan will just blow hot air right into your face. No breeze at all, but hey what can you do? We are fighting a virus, injustice and now the hot weather. Out of all that, we got some funky hot World Hip Hop music for ya. Bop ya head, take it easy, or turn the music up loud, get ya dance on, burn some calories off, then cool off again. Let's go!!!
Around the world we're all struggling with this PANDEMIC! I had to put that in capital letters just to emphasize how crazy the past two months have been. Every other day you have the president saying crazy shhhhh!! LOL. Then the documentaries that come out all of a sudden with the conspiracy theories, oh god.. The un-approved vaccines. Uggh. Anyway, thank god for music. Music can take your mind off of many things. Sit back and relax, or bop ya head, or dance to the rhythms. Some good World Hip-Hop music. Let's go!!!
Time for The Jazz Hole Live with the wonderful NYC-based, African-infused jazz duo AfuriKo live in Mercedes, Uruguay and Sheffield, England.
Marble Arch are a French guitar pop band fronted by vocalist Yann Le Ravazet. With catchy, hazy melodies and garage rock intensity, the band has a dreamy sound that pulls you in. They dropped by Serious Business Music while on tour in the states for this intense session. Children Of The Slump is available now from Géographie. Listen to the audio podcast for more music and interview.

The crazy DJ, living in a crazy world, a world of uncertainty. It's crazy what's going on now in the world, But we still have to live and go on with our everyday lives. I still have to do my mixes. Tune in, and let's get it popping. Some head bopping. Foot movement and hand clapping. Yeah, it's another dope mix in the flesh. We're setting it off from Australia with Muph & Plutonic, "Don't Worry About Nothin". That's how I feel. Lets do it, and take it just one day at a time...
You see the title? Yeah, I'm in Oakland, California now. Stopped in LA first last week, then headed over to Vegas to hangout with the legendary Biz Markie, came back to LA the next day and had a meeting with another legend, Nasty Ness. We were sitting down talking, Ness gets a text that Kobe Bryant passed away. Our last day in LA was a rollercoaster ride. So sad. R.I.P. to Kobe Bryant & his daughter and all the other passengers. We left Ness' house to go eat some great seafood at the Drunken Crab, returned back to the hotel, I took a little nap and then got ready for DJ Statik Selectah's birthday party. It was a great time. I met up with model and singer "I Am The Dan". We wound up meeting The Game, Jadakiss and I bumped into Young Guru. After LA we flew to Oakland. Now I'm bringing you a dope mix, and this mix will never be forgotten, straight outta Oakland. Check it out..Love who you love. Stay positive. You just never know what life will bring you.
FINALLY! It's over. LOL. Oh well, the new year is here, so now what? We might have a new president this year? Only time will tell. For now time might feel like it's moving slow, trust me, the month of June will be here before you turn around. In the meantime and in between time, we got some time for you to rock some World Hip-Hop from the best artists in the world. Let's go!
