Born in 1989 in Norwich, England, DJ Sinista was intrigued by music from a very young age and always felt a strong connection with hip hop. After high school, he decided to attend a music college in England called
Access To Music. While there, he got into making radio shows and met
Mr. Jason -- the pair started the now-defunct UK College Show on BTR. Sinista continued to produce the show until leaving college in 2009.
A few months later, he and Mr. Jason started the
UK Hip Hop Show, also on BTR, playing some of the dopest hip hop the UK has to offer. Eventually, after the show had been running for a few years and built up a fan base, Sinista was joined by new co-host Big Homie Stark Note, while production of the show moved to Cabin Studio, and the musical madness has gone from strength to strength ever since.
In addition to producing his show for BTR, Sinista raps in a group called the
Planet Of The Fakes which has played shows all over the east of England while releasing four EPs in four years. Their debut full-length,
Shadow Of The Lunatic, is out Christmas 2015 on German-based
Britcore Rawmance Records.
