Samantha Spoto
Samantha Spoto was the Social Media Coordinator for BTR as well as the host of Discovery Corner before leaving BTR in 2016.

She attended the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she studied creative writing and sociology. While there, she received the Vincent Tomaselli Award for Creative Nonfiction as well as the Award of Distinction for Nonfiction by the SUNY New Paltz Writing Board. Her poetry has also been published in the Stonesthrow Review, a distinguished literary journal of student work. Before graduating, Samantha served as the Music Director for the college's radio station, which broadcasted throughout the Hudson Valley.

In her spare time, Samantha collects vinyl records, attends punk shows in sweaty basements, and eats her body weight in burritos.
