The 4th annual Sugar Sweets Festival went off without a hitch in Williamsburg this past Sunday Oct. 6, bringing smiles to sugar lovers from all over the five boroughs. The event is a donation based bake sale raising money for The City Reliquary. Bakers from all over entered their delicious delicacies into Blue Ribbon contests and competitions to figure out who some of the best bakers in town are. In addition, to keep some of the gloom of the weather away, the event featured live music from Lloyd of the Deedle Deedle Dees with Sweet Songs.
