Summer in the city is rough, especially for places so densely populated as NYC. Muggy air sits stagnant within subway platforms, suffocating tired passengers, while above ground, disheveled pedestrians strive to find refuge in air-conditioned enclaves.
Fortunately, summer in NYC is also the season for a healthy tradition: Bryant Park Yoga. Going strong for over a decade, hundreds of participants head to the Midtown park for these free, outdoor exercise sessions. BTR stopped by one of the Thursday evening classes to check out the sequences of Vinyasa flows and sun salutations.
