On weekends from April to November, the outdoor flea food market, Smorgasburg, awaits hungry patrons. Brooklynites or city dwellers, crowds of people gather to taste everything from popcorn to lobster.
Smorgasburg is held in the East River State Park on Saturdays and in Brooklyn Bridge Park on Sundays. It’s a great place to stop by if you’re looking for something quick to eat or if you aren’t sure what you’re in the mood for. Smorgasburg features a variety of vendors and tastes; it’s like a museum for your taste buds.
In the mood for burritos? Grilled cheese? Maybe you’re like us and eat dessert first. Whatever craving hits, Smorgasburg will be sure to satisfy it.
The panoramic view of Manhattan as a backdrop doesn’t hurt either.
