Looking for a whimsical, immersive experience to brighten up your season? Staten Island’s NYC Winter Lantern Festival at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden is the holiday event you’ve been yearning for. The festival features over 1,000 lantern sculptures ranging from jelly fish to dinosaurs. In addition to the overwhelming charm of the lantern sculptures, the festival also features cultural performances, food, an ice rink and more. The luminous installation opened on Nov. 20 and will be up through Jan. 12.
