Currently on display in Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal is a major project by Chicago-based artist Nick Cave. Titled “HEARD-NY,” in which 30 life-size multicolored horses, peacefully “graze” and periodically break into choreographed movement to the accompaniment of live music. The installation and performance piece is presented by Creative Time and MTA Art for Transit to celebrate the centennial of the Grand Central Terminal.
HEARD- NY is FREE and runs thru till Sunday, March 31 and performance times are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
