The week after Thanksgiving marks the start of craft fair season. Artists and vendors nationwide are showcasing and selling goods ranging from screen-printed posters and clothing to handmade jewelry, pottery, leather goods, clothing and more. We stopped by the Renegade Craft Fair at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan to get a look at some of the offerings before the holiday shopping rush really gets crazy.
You can find the Renegade Craft Fair throughout the U.S., with Brooklyn events at Industry City on December 2,3, 9, 10, 16 and 17. For more holiday craft goodness, check out these upcoming local markets: FAD Market (various dates and locations), Grand Central Holiday Fair (11/13-12/24), Brooklyn Holiday Bazaar (11/25-26), Columbus Circle Holiday Market (11/28-12/24), Greenpoint Holiday Market (12/3, 12/10, 12/17), Union Square Holiday Market (11/16-12/24), and Oddities Flea Market (12/2-3), Sugar and Spice Holiday Makers Market (12/7), Bust Craftacular (12/9-10), and Ridgewood Market (12/16).
