Dilly Dally Play Music Hall Of Williamsburg

Last night, BTRtoday was proud to present Dilly Dally in their biggest headlining Brooklyn show to date. Playing for a packed house at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg, the Toronto band brought the songs from their album Heaven (Partisan Records) to vivid life. The show opened with a set from Canadian group Chastity, whose heavy ’90s vibe-laden Captured Tracks LP, Death Lust we’ve found impossible to resist. Passions ran high all night, with Dilly Dally’s devoted fans singing with almost as much passion as Dilly Dally’s Katie Monks (though nobody can quite match her raspy howl).

Both bands delivered cathartic, inspiring live sets that transcended their already intense recordings. Scroll on for photos by Bryan Bruchman.
