Canstruction at the World Trade Center - PHOTOBLOG

Canstruction is an international charity competition where architects, engineers, contractors, and students they mentor, compete to design and build giant structures made entirely from full cans of food. At the close of the competition all of the food from the New York City competition will be donated to City Harvest. The exhibit is currently located in the Winter Garden and lobby of 200 Vesey Street, Brookfield Place (formerly known as World Financial Center). Beyond this exhibit beneath the World Trade Center is the West Concourse, which just opened to the public after being closed of since the September 11th attacks. The beautiful hallway is white marble and clad with portraits of local New Yorkers enjoying our city.
