Brooklyn Record Exchange Grand Opening

The new Brooklyn Record Exchange opened its doors this weekend and New York’s vinyl-lovers couldn’t be happier. Launched by local record label Mexican Summer and  Greenpoint’s Co-Op87 Records, the Bushwick location joins music venue Elsewhere and Mission Chinese Food at 599 Johnson Ave. It’s the first of two shops for the new venture, with the second slated to open in the former Co-Op87 space on Guernsey Street. Stocked with a sweet selection of used vinyl, the shop drew dozens of collectors on opening day.

Jeanette D. Moses stopped by to see what they had to offer and to get a look at the new space.
