For the second weekend in October, the tristate area was been blessed with unseasonably warm weather. Orchards are in full bloom and surrounded with a foliage more suitable for spring than fall.
BreakThru was able to check out Melick’s Town Farm in Oldwick, NJ and Bishop’s Orchards in Northford, CT over the weekend. Both offered lush apples and sunny skies. While the weather now might be catching on to the calendar, Oct. 12, 2013 will go down as one of the nicest days for Pick-Your-Own apples.
