Wanna Play With Dream Wife?

The badass U.K. punk trio Dream Wife might want you to join them on their first-ever U.S. headline tour—the Bad Bitches Tour.

Riding on their debut self-titled album and coming off a tour with beloved early-2000s band Garbage, they’re ready to give back. In select cities across the U.S., U.K. and Europe, Dream Wife is rallying badass musicians to join their already fierce show. In collaboration with the female-centric nonprofits Girls Rock London and Girls Rock Alliance they’re searching for women and non-binary bands to help them smash stereotypes about women in music.

Dream Wife, “Hey Heartbreaker”

The pop-punk band is searching for passionate artists; acts don’t need to have a minimum number of Instagram followers to apply.

In a press release sent out this morning, they said they’re calling for women/non-binary artists to come share their music, thoughts, the night and a stage with them.

“Gender diversity in the music industry is still an issue and the aim is to provide a platform for women/NB musicians regardless of experience, financial backing, number of online followers etc,” they said in the release. “If you’ve got rock ‘n’ roll in your soul, if you’ve got something to say; we want to hear from you.”

Girls Rock London hopes this collaboration will “provide a platform for female identifying/non-binary fronted/majority bands to perform with such an amazing band of badasses.”
