Premiering Fruit & Flowers Cautionary Track "Run, Run, Run"

We all have that one person we dread bumping into. Brooklyn indie rockers Fruit & Flowers’ new song “Run, Run, Run” perfectly captures that heart-dropping-into-stomach feeling of seeing someone you’ve been hoping to avoid.

The group says “Run, Run, Run” is a “cathartic balm for burns from old flames” that also provides “perspective on countless songs that express male aggression towards women.”

“You better run, run, baby as fast as you can,” Fruit & Flowers chants, “because you’re gonna be a sorry man if I see you again” over synth, saxophone and distorted guitar. Screaming along is the only way to survive this blood-pumping track.

Strap on your running shoes and listen to the premiere of Fruit & Flowers’ “Run, Run, Run” below. Plus, catch them Sept. 12 at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right with Acid Tongue and Max Pain & The Groovies.
