Michael Jordan is the greatest of all-time in many respects. Basketball player? Yes. Shit-talker? Possibly.
And as a meme template? Absolutely.
The Last Dance, ESPN’s epic docuseries covering Jordan and the 1990s Chicago Bulls, concluded Sunday night to incredible internet fanfare. It chronicled his basketball career and unparalleled celebrity during his run to six NBA championships. The series featured incredible behind-the-scenes footage of Jordan and the Bulls and served as a sports spectacle while professional leagues are still on hiatus.
But The Last Dance‘s greatest legacy might be its memes.

As NBC News’ Kalhan Rosenblatt wrote last week, Michael Jordan is one of the most meme-able human beings ever. His outsized pop culture and sports icon status makes him instantly recognizable, and his reactions to interview questions and videos throughout The Last Dance were reaction gold. And with 10 hours of documentary to work with, “meme makers have never had so much fresh Jordan content to work with.”

“Crying Jordan” was already a classic. But now the best ever has a series of reactions that run the full gamut of emotions. With someone as great and iconic as Jordan, it’s almost as if the memes make themselves.
Here are some of the best ones.
