Can’t-Miss Indie Bands Coming to a Town Near You Soon

It’s week 300 of a seemingly endless January, but end-of-winter/spring tours are already underway.

Here at BTRtoday, we know it’s hard to keep up with all the cool bands coming in and out of the scene. It’s even harder to keep track of chances to catch them live. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than becoming obsessed with a band and finding out they just played your town last week.

Good news. We’re making it easy for you. Below are BTRtoday’s favorite bands that are playing a town near you very soon. Use a pen to put these dates into your itinerary, not a pencil.

This solo musician mixes country twang with indie rock. Every one of their shows is an art piece.

The Nude Party

If you miss a show with these wild mountain boys then you’re missing the party of your life.

Frances Quinlan

This will be the first solo tour from the frontwoman of Philly indie rockers Hop Along. You’re basically watching history in the making.

The Paranoyds with Spendtime Palace

This L.A.-based quartet rocks harder than anyone you’ve ever seen, so be prepared to sweat.

Thick with Mean Jeans and The Chats

This lineup is epic. Thick, Mean Jeans and The Chats are great on their own, but are going to be insane together. It’s the ultimate show for any garage, pop-punk, stoner rock fan.

Diet Cig with Sad13 and Thinlips

If you need a place to sing along to moody lyrics and dance your sadness away to upbeat indie rock, this show is for you.

Tennis with Molly Burch

This lineup plays sad-indie tunes with songs about life’s bullshit. Everybody can relate so bring all your friends when they come to your town.

If you were a misfit growing up then you have to catch this Swedish punk band and incite a riot with them.

The Buttertones with The Reverend Horton Heat

This will be the catchiest night of your life. You’ll need to see these guys over and over again.

The Growlers

Even if you’ve seen The Growlers before, this tour is a must-see. They took a new direction on their last album and it’s made for a fresh and new show.

Porches’ music is perfect to get introspective with and lose yourself while swaying to the sweet melodies.

The ladies in Habibi make music that’ll make you want to fall in love or overthrow the government. There’s no in-between.

Soccer Mommy

Soccer Mommy is a Nashville-indie sweetheart. With her intimate vibes, you’ll feel like her new BFF at her show.
