If your thirst for pumpkin recipes is as insatiable as my own, I have your back. Orange is the New Black Week may be over, as is National Bourbon Heritage Month, but fall is just getting started.

What you’ll need:
1 oz Bulleit bourbon or rye
2 scoops coffee ice cream
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Put all the ingredients in a blender and whip until smooth. Serve in a highball glass.

I’ve tried this milkshake with both the Bulleit bourbon and Bulleit rye. The flavors in both of these whiskeys pair really well with the coffee and pumpkin. The flavors in the bourbon are a bit subtler, so the flavor of the bourbon can get masked a bit with these other flavors. Because the rye is a bit spicier, it keeps its bite when combined with the pumpkin puree and coffee ice cream.
