Hot Chocolate Shooters

What better way to celebrate the holidays than with hot chocolate and shots all at once? I made these for the first time for my parents and myself when we were snowed in last week. My dad doesn’t drink anything other than wine and even he was eager to try these shooters. Yes, he liked them, and you will too.

What you’ll need:
2 tbsp hot cocoa mix
2 oz half and half
3 oz Costa Rican rum
1 oz water
Whipped cream

Directions:
Combine the water and hot cocoa mix in a mug and microwave for about 60 seconds.

Pour the hot cocoa into a shaker and add the rum and water. Shake and strain into double shot glasses. Garnish with whipped cream and serve.
