Greyhound Batch Cocktails

Thanks to my being an avid reader of GQ, I stumbled across an article about batch-made cocktails. It had dawned on me in the past to try something like this, but I forgot about it until I came across GQ’s piece. While GQ conquers a couple of the more difficult cocktails, I thought to whip up a batch of my favorite ultimate greyhounds and bring them to a holiday party. The pre-made cocktail was such a hit, my only regret is that I made one bottle instead of two.

What you’ll need:
2 small grapefruits
300 ml citrus vodka
200 ml Fresca
20 ml Rose’s lime juice

Juice the grapefruits into an 800-milliliter measuring glass. This must equal about 200 ml of juice, so if there are leftover pieces of grapefruit save them for garnish.

Stir in the vodka, Fresca, and lime juice. Using a funnel, pour this into a 750 ml bottle and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours before serving.

Add ice and garnish with a grapefruit or lime wedge at the party.
