Gin-Gin Mule

Typically, I prefer vodka over gin, but I recently found myself in the possession of multiple bottles of the latter. So, in an attempt to use some of the excess liquor, I tried gin in a Moscow Mule instead of vodka. As it turns out, the Gin-Gin Mule already exists on a lesser known scale. The combination of floral notes in gin with the spicy notes of the ginger beer makes this drink stand out far more than the standard Moscow Mule.

What you’ll need:
2 oz gin
5 oz ginger beer
1 oz crushed ice
1 lime wheel

Put the crushed ice into the bottom of a copper or ceramic mug. Pour in the gin and ginger beer before stirring with a cocktail spoon. Garnish with the lime wheel and serve.
