This week is Milk Week here on BTR, but since I’m not much of a milk drinker I thought it would be fun to incorporate milk into the weekly Thirsty Thursday post. As you probably already know, I’m a bourbon fan boy, but the real game changer in this recipe is almond milk. Who says milkshakes can’t be consumed in the fall? Not I.
What you’ll need:
2 scoops butter pecan ice cream
1 tsp peanut butter
1 cup almond milk
2 oz bourbon
Put all of the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Serve in a large glass with a straw.
I find that the flavor combinations here work quite well together. What makes this milkshake so tasty is that any two of the ingredients here can pair well. It seems almost natural.
