Apple Berry Smash

Spring is nearing at last and since it’s been about a month since Dish + Drink’s last cocktail recipe, I wanted to write up a special one that serves as the perfect crossover between winter and spring with just a hint of the summer on the horizon. With that in mind, this cocktail can be sipped from today on through mid-October.

What you’ll need:
2 oz bourbon
1 oz Applejack
1 oz apple soda
1/8 cup blueberries
Peychaud’s bitters
Ice, crushed

Muddle the blueberries and two dashes of bitters in the bottom of a rocks glass. Add the crushed ice and stir in the bourbon, Applejack, and apple soda to serve.
