Wintry cocktails don’t need to be heavy ones nor do they need to be whisky-based. This sake cocktail combines light aromatic flavors like that of the sake itself and the bitters along with grapefruit, one of winter’s most classic staple foods.
What you’ll need:
2 oz sake
1 oz club soda
2 grapefruit wedges
In a mixing glass, add a dash of Angostura bitters and two dashes of orange bitters. Then, add one of the grapefruit wedges and muddle. Pour the club soda and sake into the glass and stir to combine.
Pour over ice into a separate glass and garnish with the remaining grapefruit wedge to serve.
