Happy Thanksgiving! Today may be a national holiday, but here on Dish + Drink it is still Thirsty Thursday. This cocktail is festive, light, and easy to make in big batches for a Thanksgiving punch.

Thanksgiving party note: If you are going to make this in a big punch bowl, only combine the liquor and cranberries in the bowl. Keep a liter or two of ginger ale sealed next to the punch bowl and suggest that guests fill their glasses one third of the way with the liquor and top off with the ginger ale.

What you’ll need:
2 oz vodka
1/2 oz Aperol
4 oz ginger ale
Fresh cranberries

Directions:
Combine the vodka, Aperol, and ginger ale in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain over ice into a glass. Garnish with a handful of fresh cranberries to serve.
