Summer Fruit Smoothie

Typically, my smoothies have an almond milk or Greek yogurt base, but summer calls for a brief moratorium on creamy ones. Locally grown yellow sugar plums and orange juice together makes for a sweet and seasonal smoothie. Using banana will ensure that the smoothie reaches the desired texture without using milk or yogurt, so don’t skip out on that.

What you’ll need:
1 banana, sliced
1 apple, sliced
2 yellow sugar plums, pitted
1/2 cup orange juice
Ice

Directions:
Add the fruit, juice, and ice to a blender. Whip until smooth and serve in a 12 oz glass.
