Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake

While I know many of us fall off of the health wagon each weekend, Halloween is typically one of the worst weekends for binge drinking and eating candy. In the spirit of bringing Halloween to a close as well as starting the week off right, I’ve come up with a delicious breakfast protein shake that tastes like a pumpkin pie milkshake.

What you’ll need:
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 tbsp plain nonfat Greek yogurt
5 almonds, crushed
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Put everything together in a blender and whip until smooth. Adding ice is optional.

What’s great about this shake is that it truly does taste like pumpkin pie, but is so low in sugar that you’ll only be consuming the right kind of calories and protein.
