Usually I like to post my healthiest recipes on Mondays and this is especially true when they are smoothie recipes. I sometimes discuss the popular dietary plan of throwing the weekend out the window, which makes Mondays great for recovery. However, much like with working out, it’s good to put good in before and after. This smoothie is great for Fridays before you go out and load up on boozy calories. It’s also great if you’re planning to eat healthy all weekend, which I recommend.
What you’ll need:
1 cup spinach
1 tsp peanut butter
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Combine all the ingredients into a blender and whip until smooth. Serve in a 12 oz glass with a straw.
Don’t stress about the spinach in this smoothie. It turns the drink green, but you won’t notice the flavor at all.
