Apple Cider Oatmeal

The first frost came just a few days ago, which signifies that the colder weather is officially upon us. One of the absolute healthiest breakfasts is a bowl of oatmeal, but it can be a bit boring day after day. This recipe includes some fall favorites, which will surely lift your spirits on a chilly morning.

What you’ll need:
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup quick oats
1 cup almond milk
1/4 cup apple cider
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup cranberries, dried
1/4 cup walnuts, crushed
3 prune plums, pitted and diced

Add all of the ingredients to a small pot and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for a few minutes and serve in bowls.
